LEUNA Polymer GmbH operates a revamped high-pressure polymerisation plant for the manufacture of special products based on ethylene and vinylacetate: EVA, PE-waxes and additives for middle distillates. The company was privatized in 1997at the chemical site of Leuna. The company has sales of ? 22m and employes 70 people. Starting from a consolidated position in its European home market, a worldwide business has been set up with an export rate of 60 %.
