OxyGuard is a young company, founded in 1987 by Ebbe H?ffner, an experienced process engineer. The first OxyGuard products were dissolved oxygen metering and alarm units aimed at the aquaculture market, and received wide success. Within a very short period OxyGuard grew and established a network of agents all over the World. OxyGuard enjoys World-wide acclaim as having been instrumental in making intensive fish-farming with recirculating water viable on a commercial basis! OxyGuard's growth rate is stable, and the company represents a solid, healthy, family owned niche manufacturing company with a sound financial background. The basic concept behind OxyGuard is still the same as when it was founded - to design, manufacture and market equipment that satisfies the needs of the user. The range of products has grown, and has been extended to target the needs of other market segments for equipment within OxyGuard's area of expertise. OxyGuard's range of products now encompasses equipment for the aquaculture industry, the waste water industry, for environmental monitoring, for the industry in general and for use on pure water such as that found in the high pressure boilers used in today's power stations. OxyGuard products include, as well as the equipment above, a PLC, a low-price 8-channel data logger/communication unit to transfer the outputs from multichannel systems to a PC, a sewage treatment plant DO probe system that prevents fouling, pH measurement and control systems, a single-point DO and temperature data logger for field use, oxygen-in-gas metering and alarm equipment for safety monitoring and meters for measuring pH and DO (at ppb levels) in pure water. OxyGuard continues to develop new instruments, all according to the "no- nonsense measurement" philosophy that is the basis for all OxyGuard products.
