There are some 500 Saab 340 and Saab 2000 regional airliners in service

only continued airworthiness and maintained value of the aircraft, but
also further improvement of the Saab340/2000 fleets throughout their
life cycle. Also, a JAR 145-approved aircraft maintenance centre has
been established in Linkِping, Sweden.

customers ranging from major airlines to single-aircraft operators in
some of the most remote regions of the globe.
Saab Aircraft has about 400 employees, of which about 300 are located
in Linkِping, Sweden, and about 70 at Sterling, Virginia, in the US.
Saab Aircraft of America, LLC. in Virginia supports the operators in
the Americas and Saab Aircraft AB services the Saab340/2000 operators
in the rest of the world. In addition, there are field service
representatives stationed with a number of customers. Spares centres
have been established at strategic locations in Europe, the USA and
