Little more than a decade old, Crystal has experienced phenomenal growth achieving sales of over $42 million in 2002. Crystal currently operates out of two facilities in Flushing, Queens, containing an aggregate of 215,000 square feet and employing almost 300 employees. Crystal is proud to be one of the few licensed users of PPG “Intercept” insulated glass technology. Other highlights of Crystal’s manufacturing include computerized glass cutting machinery, four-point vinyl welding machinery and bending equipment for both vinyl and aluminum to produce architectural shapes. Crystal’s extrusion and window assembly processes are AAMA and ISO quality certified. Crystal is a supporter of several local community and charitable organizations. Thomas Chen, Crystal’s president, serves on the Board of Directors of the Queensborough Community College Fund, the Jamaica Business Resource Center, and the Asian American Business Development Center.
