To address a major concern in the furniture manufacturing industry, we developed the first ready-to-use liquid hide glue. It could be applied at room temperature instead of 140°F for traditional hide glue and it allowed twenty minutes of assembly time instead of two. Today, our liquid hide glue is still widely used for interior woodworking, musical instruments, and antique restoration. As the years passed, Franklin Glue Company became Franklin International to more accurately reflect the global contributions of our business.
