Softening Point Apparatus This apparatus is the specific arrangement for vertical holding of lipstick solve with gental and confirm touch of thermometer to the lipstick. This holding arrangement is in directly heated by water, by immersing 1liter flat bottom beaker. This beaker is heated by hot plate at certain rate which is achieved by stirring the water and temperature controller. The result is express in terms of temperature at which the Lipstick solve starts bending and loosing its shape. This design is complies with IS 9875:1990.
